We collect information to provide a personalized experience in PromptBook:

• Account Information: When you sign up or log in, we collect your email address, full name, and profile details provided by authentication systems (e.g., Firebase Authentication).
• Usage Data: We track basic app interaction statistics, such as the total number of times you copy prompts and the prompts you save to your favorites collection, to enable cloud synchronization.
• App Preferences: We save your preferences locally and in the cloud, including your selected accent theme color, light/dark mode preference, and language settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used to:

• Authenticate your account and sync your profile and favorites lists across multiple devices.
• Monitor and analyze usage trends inside the App to improve our prompt collections and user experience.
• Fulfill user requests, such as customer support, feedback submissions, and account deletions.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your user profile data, favorite prompts, and feedback messages are safely stored on Google Firebase Firestore. We implement strict cloud security rules to ensure that only authenticated users can access or edit their own profile information and lists. No data is stored on unencrypted, insecure servers.

4. Data Deletion Policy

You have full control over your data. You can delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time:

• In-App Deletion: Navigate to your Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account. Confirm the action to instantly and permanently erase your account, favorites list, and profile data from our cloud servers.
• Manual Request: If you are unable to access the App, you can request account deletion on our Delete Account page. We will process your deletion request manually within 48 hours.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete it from our servers.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date above.
